LIFE CHOICES
LIFECHOICES is built on
a foundation of commitment to the community and delivery of
quality services to our clients and their families. We believe
in being a positive part of our community and would like you
to know who we are.
Our mission is to serve the community, the
family, and those individuals suffering from Chemical Dependency
in reaching their full potential by providing outreach, education,
treatment, safety, and support.
LIFECHOICES
offers hope to those suffering from the consequences of alcohol
and drug dependency. We believe that abstinence is the foundation
upon which recovery is built. Recovery is an ongoing process
that must be applied to each aspects of life that has been affected
by the use of substances. We believe that physical, emotional,
and spiritual healing help the client, the family, and the community
reach a healthier existence.
Founding
Board Members and Administrative Staff
John Licking, D.D.S. is a graduate of the University of
Southern California class of 1970 and began practicing his profession
while serving in the United States Air Force. He moved to this
area in 1972. He continues to work in his chosen field of dentistry
and is very active as an elder in the Church of Christ.
Betty
Licking has lived in this area since 1952 and is a homemaker
and mother of two children. She is actively involved in the
Church of Christ as a teacher, pastoral counselor, and provides
support and benevolence to those in need.
John
and Betty have two children, Carolyn who is married and living
with her husband in Phoenix, Arizona and Ben who recently graduated
from the University of California at Davis.
Richard
Franko is a local building consultant and developer instrumental
in the continuing development of LifeChoices. Mr. Franko was
born and raised in the Santa Clara valley and is a native from
birth .He is a very active member of community self-help groups.
Richard is working toward becoming a credentialed counselor.
He now serves as Marketing Director. Program Manager.
Richard is very active in outside support group meetings and
is very well grounded in the community.
Rippon
Longoria is a Native of Santa Clara county
whose family has been here since the turn of the century. He
is a real-estate broker and has watched the valley grow from
infancy. He has worked in the community for some 40 years and
very well versed on our community needs.
